Jodi B. I found Zentangle through a website called NorthLightShop.com when I was taking some watercolor classes. The site offered the books Zentangle Untangled and a companion workbook. Then I went to Zentangle.com, the official website for Zentangle and ordered a beginners kit. Waiting for it to arrive was agony! I was so intrigued and started drawing right away. This was almost a year and a half ago. I shared my drawings with a couple of friends on a cruise and we tangled off the coast of Brazil! I like the way it centers me, wakes up my creativity and the way it is totally portable. I have shown many people and they have become interested as well. I had been searching for a CZT in my area and Kim's name popped up to my delight. She offered a beginning class, even though I was not a beginner really, and I took it. I learned things I didn't already know and improved on things I knew about. It was a delightful experience! My favorite part was that Kim had so many Zentangle supplies for sale after class. Instant gratification!!!! I liked Kim's teaching style and would definitely take more classes from her in the future.

Sunie D. I heard about Zentangle from Kim's website. Zentangle gets my mind off of troubles. It also let's the creativity out in me and is calming and relaxing. The personal touch of having an actual teacher, plus a group of people all working together was good. Much better than books or online. The chatter and humor was great as was seeing others finished art work. Having Kim explain the philosophy and background, as well as her own struggles, and how it's helped her was great. Having supplies for purchase was a plus.

Ann D. Zentangle is a creative way to relax my mind and let go of any insecurities about my ability to be an artist. The process is simple and always has a unique interesting result. I call it a creative meditation because I can focus on each stroke without being attached to how it will look in the end and feel in my heart that the result will be beautiful.

I was invited to Kim's Zentangle class by a good friend. We went to the class together and truly enjoyed our sent time with Kim. Kim is a wonderful spirit who guides and teaches her students with a true love of the arts, Zentangle in particular. I really liked that the class was well setup with a lesson plan, written instructions, suppose, a variety of reference books for browsing and simple refreshments. Kim also has extra supplies for sale, which you are sure to want.

What I really appreciate about Zentangle is the step by step process that makes up a Zentangle art piece. Each tangle has it's own steps and stands on it's own but put together creates a wonderfully individualistic piece of art. For me, each step is a discovery about myself and my creative abilities.

I highly recommend taking Kim's class to get the full Zentangle experience. At the very least, you will get to meet her!
